Oh my goodness!!!! Did Ms. Postwoman surprise me yesterday with the most sweetest treasure box ever!!!!!!! Kimberly, I can't thank you enough for all the beautiful treasures you've collected for me to 'comfort' me this Autumn and even many days thereafter...you have touched me beyond belief and I can't believe how kind and thoughtful you've been to me, a stranger across this great nation of ours, many miles away from one another! I absolutely LOVE + ADORE every single item you sent...and boy did you spoil me! (I've taken some shots of it but need to edit them since it's quite dreary and dark outside. I'll post as soon as I can of your most generous and beautiful gifts!!!) I've always been curious about what Chanel No. 5 smelled like and now I'm forever HOOKED! That gorgeous, lush and ever so soft dark pink/maroon/brown bonnet with the prettiest brown (all of my favourite colours) ribbon is absolutely the sweetest hat I've ever seen! It truly fits me perfectly and I can't wait to start wearing it everywhere I go...I will always think of your kind heart when I look at or wear the things you've sent to me. Now, let's talk about the artwork-oh my...what a fantabulous collection of your work. Your talents are oozing with magnificence...I can't wait to find the perfect frames to display in my studio...I also can't wait to put up my "Tour eiffel Paris" ornament this Christmas...infact, I'm placing it in my studio with my other French loves...The masked beauty that you painted is spectacular and reminds me of me...oh I can't wait to use that most adorable tea cup/saucer with 'La mode' and another pretty image with that AMAZING earl grey tea...so beautifully presented and wrapped...and the delectable chocolates...WOW!!! I'm also floored that you're from Maine as my sister used to live there for 7 years and I've visited her there a couple of times and always fell in love with the quaint villages, the natural beauty and the kindred spirits that live there. Simply a magical place to live...how I envy your surroundings...you're so close to the French Canadians and your village is a classic storybook wonderland!!! The collection of seaglass brings back memories of my time in Maine...how I long to visit such a 'comforting' place again!!! There are so many other neat things (like the Haiku poems-I love it!!! etc)you gave me and I will properly do a post with pics of your amazing gifts to me on my blog as soon as I finish my deadline to complete 4 pagesx27 "Marie Antoinette" pages for an itty bitty book collabortive I'm hosting... again, Kimberly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much for warming my heart and lovingly touching my soule with your everso sweetest & kindest generosity...Looking forward to learning more about you, your adventures and the beauty you create! Utterly grateful for your kindness, Jo ;) xoxo (PS your handwritten notes on the boxes were quite inspirational...totally adored it and your penmanship!!!)

Thanks for Visiting mY BLoG
